Oh No! It's Monday Again! Have you ever read the comic strip of Garfield and how he loathes Mondays? Today could have definitely been that kind of Monday. My morning into afternoon consisted of taking my son for blood work. He is not a fan of getting it done. Then I had to have an x-ray of my throat while drinking the dreaded Barium drink. In the midst of these unpleasant tasks though there were blessings. The ladies where my son gets his blood work done are exceptional and so nice and friendly. Where I got my lab testing done was the same. All were so nice. What was mundane, unpleasant situations and things to be done were brightened by positive, wonderful people. That is just how Jesus can help us in our daily life chores, tasks, duties. They can become boring or tedious or even bothersome to do day in and day out. Jesus can help brighten those daily life endeavors though. He can bless us with putting wonderful people there to help make the unpleasant, pleasant. He can brighten our daily duties by having something happen that makes us smile or by placing a song in our head that brings happy thoughts. When life becomes boring look to Jesus to make a rainbow in some way to bless us and brighten our day. So today Be a Blessing and welcome Monday with a song in your heart and a dance in your step. Thank Jesus for its beauty.
