Be a Blessing: R-E-S-P-E-C-T Others

Blessings dear ones  I hope your day is wonderful and filled with love and happiness today and always. Respecting others seems to be a thing of the past these days. It seems so much easier for people to condemn   and even kill others who don't  have their beliefs   their color   or their political view. It seems to be so much easier for people to say hurtful responses on media sites  then to  say more positive statements.  How sad :-( One thing I personally vowed is when you go on any of my media sites   there will be uplifting and positive  quotes etc. from me on them. The world needs positivity and kindness more now than ever. Today I urge you to show respect to your elders  your neighbors   your co-workers  even if they don't belong to your denomination of Faith or if they share your race or if they simply don't have the same belief as you. We are all a family in this world together  treat everyone  as if they were your biological sibling  treat all with respect. If you don't agree don't retaliate and condemn... instead say simply I am sorry I dont share that opinion  but I respect your opinion and I love you . One step of respect and kindness at a time and daily we can do our part to help diminish the negativity happening in todays world.  Be a Blessing:  R-E-S-P-E-C-T Others even if they dont seem to reciprocate. Respect begins with this attitude: "I acknowledge that you are a creature of extreme worth. God has endowed you with certain abilities and emotions. Therefore I respect you as a person. I will not desecrate your worth by making critical remarks about your intellect, your judgment or your logic. I will seek to understand you and grant you the freedom to think differently from the way I think and to experience emotions that I may not experience." Respect means that you give the other person the freedom to be an individual.”

Matthew 5:43-48 ESV

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
